The Pineapple Thief announce September UK Tour!

The Pineapple Thief have announced a September UK tour to coincide with the release of the band’s ninth studio album! The band have promised that more information about the album will be revealed in the run up to September. I’ve posted the tour dates below, along with links to where you can buy tickets. We’ll be at the show in London on September 22nd.

Bruce Soord at Kscope’s ‘A Night at the Tabernacle’ – Photos

Bruce Soord performed a short acoustic set of old and new material last Wednesday at The Tabernacle in London, as part of a special Kscope evening. We attended the event, and our photographer Miles Skarin took some photos of Bruce’s set, which lasted for about 20 minutes. Most notably, he played songs from The Pineapple Thief’s now completed upcoming studio album, which is due to be released in September on Kscope – further release and format details will be announced soon!

Bruce Soord has been added to the lineup of Kscope’s Night at the Tabernacle gig in London next Wednesday, alongside North Atlantic Oscillation and Mothlite. Bruce’s acoustic set will consist of old and new material – so if you want to hear a stripped down preview of new songs from the next TPT album, don’t miss this gig!

Bruce Soord confirms next TPT re-issue as ‘What We Have Sown’

The Pineapple Thief’s ‘What We Have Sown’, released in October 2007, was the band’s final album for Cyclops Records, before signing to post-progressive label Kscope. The album has been unavailable for quite some time, so Bruce Soord has announced that it will re-issued soon – hopefully it will receive the same re-issue treatment as ’10 Stories Down’, ‘Variations on a Dream’ and ‘Little Man’ – three TPT records that have been remastered and re-issued on Kscope over the last couple of years. Bruce also stated that the re-issue will be mail order only, which sadly means that it won’t be available at any local music stores.
